Musical 

I did Musical for all four years of high school and did the fifth-grade musical. I was mainly background until my junior year. That year I was on the dance group of White Christmas, and the following year I got a bigger role. My senior year i got the chance to be on show choir and i was given the role of big Jule in Guys and Dolls. My senior year was obviously the most fun as I was given freedom of lines and my actions.

Football

 I did football my freshman year of high school but didn't feel like it was my thing and quit for a while. Then I rejoined my senior year and had an amazing time that made me regret dropping it. I came back as a tight end and had no idea what I was doing. The funniest part was chatting with the other tight ends because we all had the most confusing plays.

 

personal life

This is just some stuff of my life. I have a decent sized family of six. My parents, three sisters and I.

The largest part is our animals. We have four dogs, Mufasa A German Shepard, Raider an aussie doodle, and the two brothers Tank and Simba they are shiatzu mixes. Lastly, I have a girlfriend back in my hometown named Emily. (Thats why I wear a bracelet with Emily on it)

Who I am? - Dylan Clair

    My name is Dylan Clair and there are many interesting facts about me. I came from a private school called LaSalle College High School, which is an all boys school. I played football and wrestling there. Also, I got involved in many clubs and volunteered in community services. The school is a very demanding community in terms of being a respectful young man. There slogan goes, “Boys will be boys but LaSalle boys will be gentlemen. LaSalle has shaped me into a well rounded person. Overall, my high school experience was best four years of being a teenager with proms, games, classmates, and more. I hope someday I can come back and give back to LaSalle for all the support they had given me!

   Furthermore, I came to Bloomsburg because I got recruited to play football here and I believed in the coaching staff strongly. Coach Sheptock is a really good coach and person to me. It has been only few weeks and everything is going very smoothly with the team. However, I don’t let football define who I am. I will make sure to balance it with my school work and relationships. This can be challenging for me because I played football since I was 8 years old and love the game to death. The game has taught me many lessons and build many strong relationships. In conclusion, I am very hard working person and care for others more than myself.

 Hello! I am Jonathan Dwyer. A fun fact about me is that I was in chorus for my entire life, ever since 1st grade, I believe, and this is the first year I haven't been able to do chorus.

I am an extreme procrastinator a majority of the time, but I can manage. I probably shouldn't be doing that so much, especially now.

Another fun fact, my favorite song changes like every 5 minutes. I have way too many running around in my brain to have one as my all-time favorite. 

I like to bake sometimes, nothing special, usually just brownies.

 My name is Braeden Ervine i’m 19 and a freshman. I’ve grown up here for all my life (sadly) and plan on getting out as soon as I can.

I went to Central Columbia for highschool and getting out of there was one of the best day of my life cause I’d never have to see most of my classmates again.

My name is Cade Henderson and I come from a small town in PA north of Philadelphia, called Bryn Athyn. I went to a private Christian high school called Academy of the New Church.

Travel

Since I was a kid, I've gone on a lot of vacations to countries around the world. In central America, I've been to Mexico, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, and Bermuda. In Europe, I've been to Germany, France, Spain, Iceland, Italy, and the Netherlands. My favorite country I've been to was Iceland because of the insane geological formations and the temperate weather.

Music

I started my music journey by learning saxophone in fifth grade. I played it up to sophomore year in high school when my interest started to switch to piano. Since then, I've learned a whole bunch of songs on piano just by looking up YouTube tutorials.

Art

Both my sister and mom are amazing painters, but I've gone down the pencil and paper route instead. I took a couple drawing classes in high school to hone my skills and made some artworks I'm pretty proud of. My ultimate art goal is to be able to draw things and people from my own imagination without having to use a reference.

Who is Kevin Jones?

My name is Kevin Jones I am from Girardville, Pa with roughly 1,200 people residing in it. It is in Schuylkill County just about 10 miles north of Pottsville. For my whole life I have went to North Schuylkill school district. During my high school time I was apart of Friends forever, Teens against Tobacco, Pep club, the football team and captain of the Baseball team. 

I have traveled to 47 of the 50 Us states. I haven't been to Alaska, Hawaii or Texas. I have traveled to roughly 15 different countries including a trip to Europe when I was 12. I used to travel all the time with my parents when I was younger but since being older traveling has slowed down. Even though I have been many places my favorite place to travel to is Gettysburg Pennsylvania.

Sports have always been a big part of my life. In high school I was the captain of the Baseball team and in my junior year we were runners up in the district XI championship. I also played football in high school; I was the tight end. On November 1st I broke my leg playing football and had to get surgery to repair my leg. I also enjoying playing pickup basketball with my friends. I also enjoy golfing with my friends as I find it very relaxing to be with my friend golfing. My favorite professional football team is the Jacksonville Jaguars; my favorite major league baseball team is the St. Louis Cardinals.

    Who Is Jules Grier?

Hi! My name is Juliana Grier, but for as long as I can remember I have always been called Jules. I am not really sure where the nickname came from, but I do know that the name Juliana came from my older brother! I am from Scranton, PA (yes, the place where The Office takes place) but I did NOT attend Scranton High School or West Scranton High School. I grew up playing all kinds of sports. I played soccer, track and field, cheerleading, dance and snowboarding throughout high school as well as competitive gymnastics through middle school. 

Growing up I never really had any pets. Every time my siblings or I would ask for a pet my parents would simply say "are you going to take care of it? Because we already have to take care of you." That was until my youngest sister came along. She begged my parents for months to get a dog and even went so far to create a slideshow about how well she would take care of it. So, we rescued a dog named Winner. Winner and I became best friends almost immediately. One of our favorite pass times is laying together (pictured on the left). 

Now, I cannot write about myself without mentioning my love for music. My father exposed me to many different genres throughout my childhood. He was very much the stereotypical dad who would play a song and immediately ask "who sings this song?". As I have grown, I have discovered which bands I am fonder of. Some of my favorites would include The Beatles, The Clash, The Cure, and The Smiths. Okay, I know it looks like I am only a fan of bands who have the word "The" in their name, but it is not true! I also love Frank Sinatra, Billy Strings, Tyler, The Creator, and Sabrina Carpenter, Linkin Park, Katseye.

 Hello, my name is Naoh Kemmerer I was born and raised in Montoursville PA which is about 40 minutes Northwest of Bloomsburg. Some interesting things about me are I love to be outdoors, and I love to hunt. It doesn't matter what animal I will most definitely enjoy it. My favorite artist is frank ocean, but I also like to listen to country music. My favorite song by frank ocean is solo because when I'm not having a good day or something went wrong, I will always throw solo on, and it will cool me down. I am at Bloomsburg for track and field, I throw javelin, and I have been throwing for 2 years. One last fact is that my favorite food is boneless BBQ wings, I have always liked them and they will always be my favorite.

 Hi, I'm Julia Evans.

 The first things to know about me would have to be my favorite pastimes, which include anything having to do with the outdoors. I ski, mountain bike, hike, and (occasionally) canoe. I've been skiing for eleven years now and would never have imagined myself to enjoy it so much since initially, for the first three years or so, I absolutely hated it. I started mountain biking around five years ago after being slowly coerced into doing increasingly more technical trails by my dad. Hiking and canoeing are less common occurrences, but I still enjoy them thoroughly. 

 I love music. It's one of my favorite things in the world and something that I am aggressively passionate about. My music taste ranges from jazz to rock, with my favorite genre being rock as a whole. My favorite artists include Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Right now, though, I've been listening to a lot of the Allman Brothers Band. My car is a 2008 with no aux, so instead of buying a bluetooth adapter I opted to inherit my parents' CD collections. My console holds a plethora of different CDs from the 70s to the 2000s and I've made it my goal to thoroughly listen to them all before purchasing more on my own.

 

For as much as I love skiing in the winter, summer is my all-time favorite season. I don't do well with extreme temperatures on either end, however I can manage heat better than I can manage frigid temps. I adore trips to the beach, going to the creek, and feeling the sun on my back in the warmer months. I would move to Florida in an instant if it weren't for hurricane season and my love of skiing.

 Hello, my name is Ally Gottschall. I am a Virgo. I enjoy writing and reading. I also enjoy playing games. I play board games a lot, but also digital games. Stardew Valley and Sims 4. I enjoy the creative part of both games. I'm into crime-related stuff. I am currently writing my own book.

Who Am I? - Trevor Ophoff

Hello, my name is Trevor Ophoff. I grew up basically in the middle of nowhere, also known as the Poconos. I went to the North Pocono School District for mostly my entire schooling career. The most notable thing I did while over there was play for the varsity tennis team. I played for all 4 years during high school and I really enjoyed it. I mainly stuck with playing doubles with my friends. Although I wasn't the best at it, it really gave me the chance to get out once in a while and not to stress over school so much.

Me personally, I love animals. No matter how big or small they are, I love them all. I've owned all sorts of pets like dogs, cats, fishes, etc. The pet I would love to own and is my favorite animal of all time is the axolotl. Axolotls are considered to be amphibians. They're very similar to salamanders but they primary live underwater. One of the most unique traits about the axolotls is their ability to regenerate themselves. Axolotls can regenerate most of their limbs if they ever get cut off. Since the axolotls are such a unique creature, I would love to own one as a pet.

Another thing that I love is to listen to music. Music has inspired me in many aspects of my life. I always have some sort of music playing in the background even while I'm typing this. I love listening to many different genres like pop, punk rock, alternate rock, musicals, etc. My favorite band has to be the Foo Fighters. I think they can really make some incredible music with all their albums. If I had to pick a  favorite song from them, I would have to pick February Stars.

 Why, hello! My name is Loreleii, and I will assume you would like to get to know me in some capacity.

B o o k

1. As most people have found out, I have a published novel on Amazon titled The Visor's Visions. I spent 2 years total writing, and ultimately rewrote the book twice before the current concept finally stuck with me. I will provide a picture of said book. (Wow, I'm totally not advertising here.) I am currently working on more books, including my sequel, and it's projected to be done by January.

Years ago, I rescued a crow who ended up imprinting on me. I named him Fable. Unfortunately after 3 months of keeping him, he passed away due to a passing car. Ever since then, I have been interested in feeding local crows and advocating for birds across the world.

3. I am heavy into almost all music. No matter where I am, I will most likely have some form of music playing, whether I tap on a table, keep headphones around my neck, or hum a tune to my personal radio (also known as my brain.) I try to keep it to a minimum when I can, but sometimes, I can't help it. Music is an expressive art for me, and music will always speak volumes to me. I prioritize music over most people (take this as you will.) This may not be a surprising fact, however, I don't like to just volunteer information about my life other than my novels and crow.

 Hi:) my name is Sydney Bingaman

I really enjoy jazz music. For my 18th birthday I went to a jazz club called the Cutting Room in Manhattan, New York City and went to see Steven Maglio's Not Just Sintara show. I enjoy a lot of different artists in jazz, from more modern artists like Laufey, as well as older artists like Frank Sinatra and Chet Baker. 

I work as a barista here on Main Street at Cafe Martha and know a lot about coffee science. I've been a barista for 2 years at multiple cafes. My favorite drink is a cappuccino with oatmilk and rosemary flavoring (returning to our menu in the winter!). It's the perfect place for studying, and we have a 10% off student discount:). Personally, I love making latte art at work and making drinks. It has to be my favorite job. I love coffee, matcha, and chai, but I can't get behind frozen coffees..... 

On the side, I also resell secondhand clothing and curated vintage! I love thrifting and decided to do a curated vintage pop-up for Bloomsburg's First Friday festival. First Friday is a festival they hold on Main Street every first Friday of the month. This upcoming is on the 5th of September (I will be at Cafe Martha, pay me a visit!).

I am a very family oriented person. My family are the people who stop everything to lend a helping hand. The Kaufman family background is Italian in German. My close family is made up of my mother, father, and older sister. Having an older sister made it difficult to leave for college so soon after we exited the snitching phase. Both of my parents are hard-working role models that want the best for my sister and I. 

Softball is an important role in my everyday life. The game practically raised me, I fell in love with the yellow ball at the young age of five. It has taught me lessons that people can not learn from be hide a desk. For example how to turn frustrations into something useful within the sport. The sport has introduced me to a huge variety of people and lifetime friends. 

Growing up I always heard about people around me with allergies. I never understood how you can wake up one day and your whole life change until it happened to me. One day my whole family and I were celebrating Christmas. We all had a piece of chocolate cake drizzled with hazelnut. It was not until ten minutes after I had my first bit that I went into anaphylactic shock. Not long after the cake incident I was diagnosed with a tree nut allergy at the age of seven. The news proceeded to change my diet for the years to come.

 My name is Blake Polcha, I am from a little town 15 miles north of Harrisburg called Duncannon. I went to Susquenita School District for all 13 years of my schooling. While attending Susquenita I was very active in anything and everything. I was the president of my class for four years, the president of our environmental club, the president of varsity club. I was very involved in big brother big sister of America, fly fishing and conservation club, prom planning committee, and catering club. I am also a very active Boy Scout, I have received my eagle scout and accumulated almost 300 hours of community service.

I am an avid outdoorsman, I love anything outdoors like hiking, backpacking, hunting, trapping, fishing, and camping. I have hiked countless miles in my life. The furthest I've ever hiked in one day was 19.5 miles. I have done countless overnight hiking trips ranging anywhere from 20 miles up to 65 and many in-between. I have also spent a lot of my time hunting each year. I mostly hunt for whitetail deer, turkey, and bear. Since I started hunting in 2012 I have ethically taken down 10 doe and 6 bucks, the biggest of which being a 9 point. I have been close many time top taking a turkey multiple times. I also have a passion for trapping which is much more humane than most people think. I target Racoons, opossums, grey fox, red fox, fisher, mink, and coyotes. When I take an animal by trapping I will take their fur and tan them myself. Finally I am a fisherman, my life passion is fly fishing and I spend many days doing just that. The picture above is of me in Youghiogheny river in western PA Casting around a heavy bass fly with my bamboo rod handcrafted in 1927.

My final fact about me is that I was an above average athlete in high school. I played golf, indoor track and field, and outdoor track and field. My golf career lasted 3 years where I cut my average down by 30 strokes from my first year to my third. I was also a captain my senior year for the golf team. I started track and field my sophomore year where I seemed to excel in javelin placing in districts. I then in my junior year took off and broke our school record and won my league meet. I also ended up placing in district that year. My senior year I broke my school record once more and placed at district once again. I am continueing with my athletic career at Bloomsburg on the track and field team.

Softball

I have played softball the majority of my life. I started when I was around 8 years old.  Throughout that years I have grown and learned the sport.  It has become a love for me and often a large stress releaser.  My high school were 4x district champs and 2x state runners-up.  Along with my school softball team, I have a travel softball team that holds practices and tournaments throughout the summer.  I view a softball team as not just a group of girls but a family that is with me through everything, softball and non-softball related. I also am a part of the Bloomsburg Softball team this year.

I do not put dressing on my salad

All throughout my life I have been a picky eater. I do not like any condiments and, as expected, I do not like salad dressing. I knew this wasn't normal, but until recently I didn't know how weird it was.  People are shocked when they find out that my salad is always dry.  I enjoy eating lettuce my itself.  I think lettuce taste good and I look forward to eating my lettuce, cheese, and chicken salad in the dining hall. I like chicken, fries, and other simple items, but once others start getting into sushi, chicken with sauce, and tofu you can't count me out.

Bocce

My senior year of high school I participated in unified bocce. Unified bocce is a sport that brings together special needs students and other students in a competitive aspect.  My team consisted of 8 members, 4 from the special needs class and 4 other students, and we ended up competing in the state tournament and finishing the season being 4th in the state. This sport is not just about winning, but it is about having the opportunity to interact and help other kids that may not be able to participate in a regular sport. Bocce has taught me so much about team building and patients.  It is one of the most rewarding activities I have ever done.

Who am I Blog- Josue Bandala

 My name is Josue (pronounced as Ho-sway). Things about me:

1. I have four dogs, two I have in the US while my father takes care of the other two in Mexico. The two at home are called Coronela and Raven who are a purebred pitbull and a half German Shepherd-half Husky, respectively. The ones in Mexico are called Coronel and Cuerva. I do not know what exactly their breeds are. My father found both on the streets.                                               
2. I practice martial arts not for any serious reason but just its fun for me. I practice many arts although I'm not good at any of them to hold my own.                                                                                          
3. I love reading. I have a bookshelf worth. I mainly read fiction like fantasy or adventure. I am trying to broaden my horizons into more genres along with reading non-fictions books as well to learn something. So far I stick to historical books.
