Troy Kemmerer- Noah Kemmerer

Troy grew up in a below average income household, so things were not easy every day. Troy stated, "My parents were very hard working, and they never complained, they always put me and my brother first and I cannot thank them enough". Right after graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy and was in the service for 16 years after being medically retired. After the military he decided to go and work for the Career Link of Pennsylvania where he finds people jobs and helps them get back on their feet. In 2018 Troy had an idea to start up a lawncare business and he was very invested in it. Troy stated," I was all in on this project and now looking back on it I know it was worth it".

Troy Quickley bought a 16-foot enclosed trailer along with 2 Hustler brand zero turns and 3 Toro brand push mowers. From what was just an idea very quickly turned into a reality for Troy and he was absolutely static about it. Troy said," I couldn't wait to go out and start doing what I've wanted to for a while, it felt so surreal, and I just couldn't believe that I actually did this". He decided on the name Way-Mol Enterprises for his landscaping business. The reasoning for this was to honor his parents Molly and Wayne Kemmerer. "They did everything in their power to give me a good childhood so I feel like this is the least thing I can do to pay them back" Troy responded when asked about the company name.

Troy then started to really advertise his company to the community; he would give small companies his business cards and ask for them to put them out. He got most of his customers through word of mouth and referrals. He started out with just himself doing these yards but after gaining more and more yards he asked his brother and son to help him on the big jobs. He started out with just 3 yards, but he didn't let that discourage him. He still worked harder and harder everyday trying to grow this company to what it is today. Eventually he got more and more customers due to his hard work and how good of quality his work was.

On average troy would mow 10-12 yards during the peak heat in the summer. "I know I would not be able to do all these yards by myself and that's why I'm very grateful for my brother and son being there whenever I need help". He is usually working in the suburbs mowing but for some of his clients that he has had for a long time he will drive out in the country for them. "I'm getting more and more clients but I will always choose my clients that have been with me since I started the business because they have been with me through thick and thin, so sometimes I will mow their grass for free or shovel for free just to tell them thank you for being loyal to my company". The reason he started the business is to have something to do and keep himself active after he retires in 2-3 years.
